Dr Graham Lister

Dr Graham Lister was born in Brisbane and studied Medicine at the University of Queensland. After graduation he worked for four years at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane, with extended residencies in Obstetrics and Paediatrics as well as in service at several hospitals in rural Queensland.

Dr Lister entered General Practice in 1992 and soon became involved in the care and management of patients with HIV/AIDS. At that time this involved extensive palliative and terminal in-home care with 24/7 availability out of only one small practice for the entire Brisbane region. He has continued to work in the area of HIV management, which has changed dramatically over the past 20 years, thankfully resulting in much better patient outcomes.

Dr Lister maintains an interest in HIV Care as well as Sexual Health, GLBTI Health and Men’s Health. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is well experienced in general family medicine.
